TASTE OF FREEDOM

In day-to-day life, anxiety can dictate decisions rather than the heart. Layers of fear cloud Teresa's (played by Sara Herrlander) inner voice. But silence can be healing. When Teresa gets stranded in the middle of nowhere, she slowly finds a way back to herself through memory. 

This project was realized as part of a lens test for the Arri Signature Prime series, centering on the extreme focal lengths of the product range. At times we follow our main character from a far, an almost observatory perspective with extreme long lenses and - on the contrary - allow intimacy in pivotal moments without losing the context of the location with a super wide lens choice like the 12mm prime.

Shot in late summer 2022 on location in the beautiful countryside of Berchtesgaden, Munich, and Bad Tölz region.
